Book Review: Akiane: Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry by Akiane Kramarik

Whoa! “Akiane: Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry” by Akiane Kramarik is nothing less than amazing! What a story about a 10-year-old girl who already has the painting and poetic expertise of a master. Her paintings have progressed each year the way most artists’ work progresses every 2-3 years and all while producing imaginative and cryptic poetry in multiple languages!

Now that’s impressive, but what is absolutely intriguing is this little girl’s Christian prophetic visions, Buddhist world outlook, and formerly Atheist parents!

At a young age Akiane began talking about the music in heaven, conversations with God, visions of Jesus Christ, and a new future earth where only love and harmony will reign. At the same time she produced magnificent art with deep and philosophical meaning without any lessons or introduction to religion.

She explains God taught her to paint and all of her work is meant to share God with others and bring them closer to him.

Did I mention she’s only 10!

Akiane

Her book is broken into two sections: a life story (up until 10) and her paintings with explanations and descriptions.

Just about everything is impressive about this little girl but what really struck me was the unique, knowledgeable and mature way she talks – with an impressive ability to answer difficult and controversial questions with the wisdom of a religious philosopher or teacher.

For example when asked what religion she belongs to, she answered: “I belong to God.”
